The Annual Community Design Collaborative Event
Thanks to COVID living, this event moved online and was a welcome break in relaxing for a Zoom gathering. Everyone was encouraged to bring their nibbles and enjoy a favorite beverage and check in with each other and many laughs were had. The biggest discussion was learning how everyone adapted to the current survival mode and how their definition of community changed.
The 2020 Leverage Award honoree was Judee M. Bavaria, the outgoing President and CEO of Presby’s Inspired Life, for her leadership and vision in creating vibrant communities and affordable housing for seniors throughout the region.
For nearly 30 years, the CDC has been leveraging the expertise and pro-bono services of the design community to engage communities, build nonprofit capacity, and advance equitable development. Proceeds from Leverage 2020 will help us continue this transformative work.
