As a promenade, it is very much appreciated for it\u2019s physical characteristics. Many of our proposed additions emphasize it\u2019s current use as a recreational conduit combined with its openness due to the street\u2019s wideness and minimal traffic<\/p>\n<p>Our primary function was to improve its presence and feeling as a gateway by introducing pedestrian linkages, ornamental fencing, extension of brick pavers in the sidewalk, and additional flowering trees. Our secondary objective was to improve its function as a place by including Bicycle parking, center island strips, temporary parklets.
