One of our chief goals for this project was to balance the provision of open space with the need to provide an attractive sized dwelling unit for this location. This combination works to make a place for rest, observation, refuge, an attractive setting. We created a connection to the community as well as to embraced the need to maintain building frontage and supplement the pedestrian scale.<\/p>\n
