Philadelphia’s Forman Arts Initiative (FAI) announced a plan to house its extensive art collection in West Kensington. The location includes four buildings and a vacant lot and will be the site for a museum and community center. Ian Smith Design Group is thrilled to be working with the artist Theaster Gates, creator of the Dorchester Project in Chicago. The campus will open in stages over the next two years, starting later this summer with a public outdoor space.
